Obraz
In November fifteenth 2017 died Gustav Elijah Åhr known under the pseudonym Lil Peep. Reason was overdose of drug - Xanax. He was 21 years old. He was very famous singer especially in young society. Except being revolutionary musician he's been a living icon of rebellious style of dress. He broke a lot of rules in streetwear. It was enough to look at him to see how brave he was in doing that! Just for his approach to fashion I value him most . In article from Highsnobiety I've read that charity store with clothes created with though of him is opening in Los Angeles. Organized to benefit Peep’s mother, Liza Womack, the ‘Rest in Peep’ pop-up will also be donating proceeds from the merch sales towards the MusiCares Foundation. In that action will also help one of Lil Peep's tatoo artists. He will be present at enitre event. In my opinion, that event is very good for fans of Lil Peep. For this moment we only have view on two hoodies in collection but it will be mo

If anyone would ask me for the most famous, the most expensive and the best quality brand in streetwear, I wouldn't be able to tell one and only winner, but one thing is for sure - Gucci is on top 3 of the best clothing producers. I haven't been follow which brand is on the top on streetwear since the day I've read an article from highsnobiety.com. It was about Balenciaga taking over position of top lists in "streetwear world". In ranking from The Lyst Index, we know that Gucci ranked first, followed by Yeezy as second and Balenciaga on the third place. I have to admit that it was ranks for second quarter of 2017. In the third quarter of 2017 , Balenciaga started to raise up and was ranked first. Gucci fell to third place and on third - Off White. You may ask: "what is the reason of growing popularity of Balenciaga?". Answer isn't clear. In my opinion that brand started to make clothing deviating from current stand

Some time ago I have read an article about "crew" from New York who merged brand Polo Raph Lauren and hip hop culture on the World. That article is mostly interview with Thristin - one of the first members of the group. First thing's first, the name of the group is Lo Life. It comes from last syllabe of word "Polo". It is not about low or something like that! When you "lived in Lo" it meant you are enthusiast of brand Polo Raph Lauren. In 80s and early 90s hip hop clothing was mostly about sport brands such as Nike, Adidas, Champion. Polo is very exclusive brand and very expensive but in ghettos and settlements black people haven't earn that much to easily buy these pieces. What was the solution was shoplifting expeditions to Saks and Bloomingdale’s. "Polo became our religion." People from Lo were rocking that clothing in clubs, on the street. Tuey were getting photographed by people outside the culture for their incredible looks. Lo
